Current Students SEMESTER OR YEAR IN AUSTRALIA The University of Ulster has exchange agreements with the University of New South Wales , Sydney and Flinders University, Adelaide through which you may apply to study for one semester or one academic year. This exchange is available for Ulster students from all disciplines and all levels. You must discuss your plans to study abroad with your Course Director so that you can receive full credit for your studies in Australia. Note: priority for places to study at Flinders University is given to students of marine science. Students are responsible for a number of costs associated with study in Australia. These costs include: Air fares - return to the place of study Accommodation and living costs - students require approximately AUD $14,000 - 20,000 per annum as a minimum to live in Sydney or Adelaide. Medical insurance - Overseas Student Health Cover is a student visa condition and is compulsory for all exchange students. Visa fees - all exchange students must obtain a student visa. The current processing fee is approximately £200 (AUD $450). Tuition fees - Students who are studying in Australia will pay tuition fees to the University of Ulster. They will not pay any tuition fees at the institution in Australia. Note: You must inform your Education and Library Board and Student Loans Company of your plans to study abroad.
