Call for Changes to Subject Specific Software Requirements (2004/5)

IT User Services is reviewing the student desktop in IT laboratories for roll out in the academic year 2004/5. This will include the rebuilding of classroom images to include, for example, assistive software and upgrades to Common Desktop versions of core applications. Faculty staff are asked to consider the requirement for software specific to their teaching needs. This may be in the light of its continued requirement, or the necessity for upgraded versions. Our department can be informed either through Faculty Software Co-ordinators or ISD’s own Faculty Contacts.
