Information Services Newsletter
The Library and the Social Sciences Faculty

Newspapers
The following newspaper archives are available on the Library web page under Electronic Resources: Belfast Telegraph, Economist, Financial Times, Independent, Independent on Sunday, Le Monde, Sunday Times, Times, Times Higher Education, Times Literary. In addition to these titles we also have access to Keesing's Record of World Events online.

Resource Discovery Network
The University Library now has access to a series of Internet resource catalogues containing descriptions of high quality Internet sites, selected and described by specialists from within UK academia and affiliated organisations. A proportion of this is devoted to Social Sciences covering a range of subjects such as law, government and politics, economics and education.

PSIB
Public Services Information Bulletin is now available for consultation in UUJ library. It is a paper-abstracting bulletin covering areas such as Education, Environment, Housing, Local Government, Social Health and Welfare and Youth and Community. It is particularly useful in that many of the above areas have a local bias, which may not be covered by other abstracts or electronic databases. It is located at ABS 352.
