Access to the library at Belfast during site
refurbishment

During the refurbishment of the Belfast campus, the library continues to provide services to all registered staff and students in the University, not just those based on this campus. Since Monday 4th October 2004, access to Block 81 has been via a direct entrance from York Street rather than the usual route across ‘the Link’. Belfast-based staff and students use a proximity card to enable entry into the building and the entrance is monitored by CCTV both internally and externally.

Access arrangements have been put into place for anyone not based at Belfast so if you intend to use our library, please report to Security staff in Block 80 first. More details about these arrangements and about the campus redevelopment can be found on the Physical Resources website at
