Sconul Research Extra (RX)

Offering University of Ulster Staff and Research Students unprecedented access to the Libraries of the British Isles.

This new scheme allows academic staff and research students to borrow from the libraries of 125 higher education institutions in the UK. It supersedes a previous local agreement that we had with Queen’s University in Belfast, as they have also become members. Although no Universities in the Irish Republic have joined, we hope that most will come on board in the New Year.

The take up from the University of Ulster has been very successful, with over 120 of our users registering for a Sconul RX card. Further information and application forms are available at , or just call in to any of our campus libraries.
