Information Services Newsletter As the JISC-funded 4i project draws to a successful close staff and students continue to benefit from the level of integration achieved between our institutional VLE (WebCT) and Library resources, services and support. A demonstration, guidelines for academics and project outcomes of interest to the HE community, are available from the project website at: There are now over 1000 online module resource lists in TalisList, the Library’s resource list management system. The management and ongoing development of this system is currently being embedded into routine Library business processes. The continued cooperation of academics with regard to list submission is essential and the project has produced a revised version of the guidelines on compilation module resource lists. The latest version is available either from your Faculty Subject Librarian or from the 4i project website. A prototype online Information Skills unit has also been developed as part of the project. Soon to be available from both the Library Service Point in WebCT and the Library’s homepage, the Unit will cover the essential skills required to find information in the Library and from the Library’s various electronic resources. Unit content is generated dynamically and is tailored to meet the subject-specific needs of individual users. An online Library Induction unit for users new to the Library is also being developed.
