Computer security is the process of preventing and detecting unauthorised use of your computer. To help protect University data and systems from malicious attack or misuse by hackers, ISD plan to install a firewall to permit access to legitimate services and block access to undesirable traffic. The installation of a firewall is a risk reduction measure, not a risk elimination exercise.
