Information Services Newsletter Library Support for Nursing at Magee Following the announcement that the School of Nursing is to have an intake of approximately 100 pre-registration nursing students on the Magee campus from October 2001, library staff have been working with the School to ensure that there is adequate support for the new intake. Books and periodicals have been ordered and are being made available as a separate sequence by the entrance to the first floor of Magee library. When the library moves into the new Learning Resources Centre in September 2002, this stock will be integrated into the main collection. The Magee nursing students will be entitled to make some use of the Multi-Disciplinary Education Centre (MDEC) at Altnagelvin Hospital, and the Library is putting in place reciprocal arrangements with Queen's University so that nursing students from both institutions can derive the most benefit from our services.
