What is Live@edu?
The University, in co-operation with Microsoft, is providing all students
with a communications environment
which includes a hosted email service known as Live@edu
and an online data storage service known as Skydrive. Both new and
returning students will be provided with new Live@edu accounts.

Outlook Live link or via the University Portal, which is our
preferred route. |

What Happen s
When I Login for the First Time?
When you first access the
Live@edu service, you will be prompted to change the original
password provided by the University. Your new password should be at
least six characters in length and, preferably, contain a mixture of
letters, numbers and other characters. It is also good practice to
select the ‘Make my password expire every 72 days’ option.
You will be asked to provide
a ‘Secret Answer’ to a specific question. This may be required if an
issue arises with your account at a later stage. You will also be asked
to provide an alternative (personal) email address (this may be used if
a password issue arises).
