Because of their rarity, value or fragility in many cases the Rare Books Collections are stored in special, environmentally controlled accommodation. Access is closely controlled, and handling guidelines are enforced. There is no unsupervised access, but within these constraints the Archives Team will make the material as accessible as possible. |
