Service Description |
Access to a wide range of both print and online user guides to help staff and students make the best use of the Library's resources. This includes guides for new students, individual database searching, subject guides covering resources available to support particular courses, specialist guides intended for researchers, distance learners, part-time students and associate students as well as specialist services including Special Collections, Document Delivery, Inspire Borrowers Scheme and Sconul Access Scheme. |

Provides self-help instruction for staff and students to familiarise themselves with the Library's full range of services and resources. Guides are intended as a starting point to becoming proficient in using these services and resources. Printed guides are available throughout existing opening hours and by electronic means outside of these hours. Printed self-help documentation is available from the Library Information Desk. Online guides are available from the Library Homepage or by logging on using a network password to the University Portal (Learning Resources tab) or via the Library Service Point on Blackboard Learn. |
