The University provides mobile phones (including iPhone for data use) and also Data Cards/USB modems to authorised staff.  The current contract is provided by O2.

(from a user perspective)

Mobile Application Form is emailed direct from Telecoms – to be completed and signed by the Proposed User; also signed by the appropriate Senior Officer and then forwarded Telecoms for processing.  Delivery is usually within 2-3 days (stocks permitting)

Who can avail of the service?

Any member of staff who completes an application form and this is approved by their Senior Officer (ie Dean, Director or Pro-Vice-Chancellor).
