Access to over 400 subject-based databases covering bibliographic and full-text sources. Accessible to all registered members of the University via an alphabetic listing from the Library Homepage or through the University Portal.

Facilitates access to electronic information resources available through the University Library. Service available 24/7, except for system maintenance. Access through the University Portal (Learning Resources Tab), directly from the Library Homepage (Databases Link), or via the Library Service Point on Blackboard Learn.

How to obtain help

Databases guides, subject librarian support for individual help, lecturer arranged library classes, short training videos for select databases.

Who can avail of the service?

Current University staff and students and other authorised affiliates. All Ulster staff and students are issued with an ID and network password which is used to access the online resources, both on and off campus.
