Information Services

Information Services is a major University administrative department with responsibilities covering library, academic and administrative computing, digital communications, media-technology services and reprographic services.

The Director of Information Services is Andrew Trimble.  The department comprises a directorate, five major divisions, reprographic and archival services and an administration & finance team. A new departmental structure, designed to improve the ICT service to the University, has been developed.

Pop Art Graphics

ICT Customer Services Graphic Design team recently designed a series of 'pop art' graphics to promote the play 'From Both Hips' which was performed by students from the BA Drama course on the Magee campus. After consultation, a 'pop art comic strip' style of illustration was created to storyboard the main scenes of the play, and these illustrations were then used in the design of publicity and invitational materials. The play, which ran at the Waterside Theatre, was very well received and deemed to have been a success by all involved. ICTCS Graphics team offers a free service for both educational and promotional materials and can be contacted via the ISD website:
