• 1997 £40,000 jointly with Prof T. Hadden, Prof F, and Dr Colin Irwin from Rowntree Charitable Trust, for study of "Separation and Sharing: Peacebuilding in Northern Ireland"
   

• 1997 £3,300 from Royal Irish Academy, Social Science Research Council towards design of "Republic of Ireland and United Kingdom Human Rights Commitment Database"
   

• 1997 £2,300 grant from SACHR to conduct research into the UK government's international human rights commitments.
   

• 1996 £2,500 Equal Opportunities Commission, Northern Ireland and Northern Ireland Voluntary Trust for publication of Women's Rights as Human Rights Booklet
   

• 1996 £2,000 from SACHR to investigate case law in Fair Employment Tribunal for Employment Equality Review into Fair Employment Legislation
