What are the milege rates?

For Staff         Mileage is paid at the following rates:

                        Up to 10,000 miles               45p

                        Over 10,000 miles                25p

 Part-time lecturers - Travelling expenses will NOT be paid for journeys to the University campus to carry out your normal duties as a part-time lecturer.  There may be occasions where you are asked to visit a location other than your base campus.  On such occasions mileage will be paid at the rate of 45 pence per mile with an upper limit of 10,000 miles.

For non-staff eg Post graduates, external examiners, visiting lecturers it is 23.8p per mile.
