Health Services

A local Group Practice provides a medical service for all registered students, and a part-time nurse is employed in the Student Affairs Department.

Crèche and Playgroup Facilities

A crèche playgroup based at Gate Lodge on the Magee campus provides places for children aged from infancy to five years. Full day care (8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday; 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday) is provided by trained staff in bright, comfortable and fully-equipped accommodation. At present, the facility operates during term time only but it is envisaged that it will eventually open outside term, subject to demand.
