RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER and REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT in-tent
Research undertaken by the School of Education revealed that student teachers are usually more computer literate than qualified teachers and can play a role in improving ICT skills in schools during their teaching practice. The results of two groundbreaking projects:
Dissolving Boundaries through Technology in Education and Infusing Teacher
Education with New Technology (In-TENT) were presented at a conference
entitled ‘Evaluating ICT in Education’ which brought together officials
from the Department of Education in B Mutual understanding Dr Roger Austin is Director of the In-TENT project and co-director of the Dissolving Boundaries project: “These projects have been significant in promoting cross border co-operation in ICT and Education and in strengthening the partnership between teacher training providers in Northern Ireland and the schools with which we work.” If you
