Examinations Timetable (Final) Semester 1 Examinations: 9 - 21 January 2012 Course/Subject Directors, Module Co-ordinators and School Examinations Co-ordinators are advised to check the Final Module Examination Timetable carefully as amendments have been made to the Provisional Timetable. Any omissions or clashes should be advised to the Examinations Office immediately. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT INDIVIDUAL INVIGILATION SCHEDULES Individual Invigilation Schedules for the Semester One Examinations will be available on the staff portal, My Teaching tab. Schedules will also be emailed to academic members of staff by Friday 16 December 2011 at the latest and a composite list will be forwarded to Heads of School. Staff are reminded of the importance of attending invigilation sessions and arriving in good time as notified on their Schedule. If yIf you are unable to invigilate on any session to which you have been appointed you must arrange an exchange of sessions with another member of staff and inform the appropriate campus Examinations Office of the revised arrangement in writing/e-mail. Staff appointed as Senior Invigilators should only exchange duties with other senior colleagues who are willing to act in this capacity. Female members of staff who wish to change sessions should, where possible, change with other females so that the ratio of at least one female invigilator for each large examination centre can be maintained. Any member of staff unable to arrange an exchange of sessions must report the difficulty to the Head of School who will be responsible for providing a substitute. Module co-ordinators are not required to attend the examination centre when the module(s) for which they are responsible are being examined but they should advise the School secretary of their location and telephone number in the event of the School secretary being contacted by the invigilator(s) or the Examinations Office. Instructions to Invigilators and Regulations Instructions to Invigilators and an extract from the Regulations - “Conduct of Examinations” may be obtained at: portal.ulster.ac.uk My Teaching tab, Examinations and Assessment channel.
