The
Registry Offices deal with enquiries regarding admission and with the
processing of applications. The Registry Office at Coleraine handles all
UCAS and direct paper-based applications while the Registry Office at
Jordanstown deals with all enquiries and with all online applications to
non-UCAS courses.
Once
applicants are offered and accept a place, the Registry Offices
co-ordinate arrangements for registration and enrolment. The offices are
responsible for ensuring that student records are established (including
personal, course and module enrolment information) and that these are
kept up to date.
The
Registry Offices are responsible for notifying Education Boards and the
Student Loans Company of changes affecting the payment of fees to the
university and loans/bursaries to students.
The
Registry Offices also organise the summer and winter graduation
ceremonies.
In
addition the Registry Office at Jordanstown has responsibility for
maintaining records of students enrolled on validated courses at other
educational institutions leading to awards of the University.
